OpenNewTrier
Important info about OpenNewTrier's Saturday rally
Join us at the OpenNewTrier rally this Saturday at 10 a.m. at the New Trier Northfield campus! New Trier parents, students and other community members will come together to let the school board know we want a safe, daily, in-class option for our kids. We’ll emphasize why real in-person learning is so important – and why we need more than the district’s current “hybrid” plan. “Mancow” Muller, WLS Radio personality and New Trier dad, along with Paul Vallas, Former CEO of Chicago Public Schools, will be our special guests at the event.

What: OpenNewTrier’s “Half a Day, Every Day” Rally
Where: NT High School’s Northfield Campus, 7 N Happ Rd, Northfield, IL 60093
When: Saturday, November 14 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
OpenNewTrier wants to civilly communicate to the board that we need an option that puts children in the classroom, with teachers physically present, for half a day, every day. We are not interested in politicizing the request for in-person learning. Our goal is to simply advocate for the choice to get our kids safely back to school.
On Saturday, please park in the New Trier Northfield campus’s west parking lot by the north tennis courts. Come prepared with masks and be ready to practice appropriate social distancing. Let’s show the board we’re ready to help them reopen classrooms safely and responsibly for those who want the option.
Ted Dabrowski, Eric Hungness, Anne Haser and Mary Lyman
